Timothy Taylor's Landlord on mitä mainion pale ale, jonka voimakas humalointi saa kuonon suorastaan kihelmöimään ensimmäisellä kulauksella. Olut pannaan Timothy Taylor & Co.:n panimolla Keighleyssä, West Yorkshiressä, ja sitä on saatavana pubeista ympäri Englantia. Panimon WWW-sivujen mukaan Landlordia saa myös pullossa, mutta itse en ole koskaan törmännyt kuin hanaversioon.
Landlord sopii paitsi ruokajuomaksi, myös ruuanlaittoon. Parhaimmissa maistamissani steak and ale -piiraissa oluena on käytetty juurikin Landlordia. Tässä esimerkkinä Lontoon Strandilla, melkein British Computing Societyn toimiston naapurissa sijaitsevassa "The Coal Hole" -pubissa nautittu annos:

If I was asked what is my personal favorite among the British bitters right now, my answer would be most likely Timothty Taylor's Landlord. It is an excellent pale ale with very strong taste of hops - it's actually so hoppy that it's almost itching in your nose on the first sip. Landlord is brewed by Timothy Taylor & Co. in Keighley, West Yorkshire, and is available as cask ale in pubs all around England. According to the brewery's website, there is also a bottled version available as well, but I have only seen it served from the cask.
Landlord is not only an excellent companion for traditional pub food but also a very good choice for cooking. The best steak and ale pies I have had have been made of Landlord, like the one in the picture taken at "The Coal Hole" on Strand, London.
